International Visitor Leadership Program
I was selected as a participant in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), focused on counter–human trafficking efforts. The program examined how the U.S. federal government and local authorities prevent, identify, and respond to human trafficking through policy, law enforcement, and victim support systems. As part of the program, I conducted site visits and briefings across Washington, D.C., New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and El Paso.
The delegation included legal professionals, civil society leaders, and media practitioners from over 20 countries—including the Philippines, Palestine, the United Kingdom, and Bulgaria—providing a comparative, international perspective on anti–human trafficking strategies and cross-sector collaboration.
